Empowering Women to Lead with Purpose, Power, and Impact

Women Leading With Purpose

At Empathy 4 Impact®, we see leadership not as power over others, but as power grounded in purpose. The Women’s Leadership Development Series is built on the belief that excellence and empathy strengthen one another. This experience equips women to transform systems by first honoring who they are.

Designed especially for women, particularly those from historically marginalized communities. The series supports participants in leading with confidence, clarity, and courage. It is an empathy-driven leadership experience for women who want to influence systems and create lasting impact without losing themselves in the process.

Led by Nasra Wehelie, whose leadership spans nonprofit governance, public policy, and community engagement, the series is both grounded and strategic. As a Black, Muslim, Somali immigrant woman, Nasra understands the realities women leaders face and brings lived insight to navigating power, representation, and institutional demands. Her leadership has been recognized through honors such as Brava Magazine’s Women to Watch and the YWCA Madison Women of Distinction Award, reflecting her sustained commitment to advancing women and community impact.

A Strategic Approach to Women’s Leadership

Our strategy blends executive coaching, systems navigation, and identity-centered leadership development. We focus not only on personal growth, but on equipping women to understand and shape the environments they operate in. Women, particularly women of color, immigrant women, and women from underrepresented backgrounds, often face unique challenges:

  • Carrying emotional labor without recognition

  • Navigating bias within performance systems

  • Leading within structures not designed with them in mind

  • Experiencing burnout from constant code-switching

  • Being over-mentored but under-sponsored

The 4Ps Framework for Women’s Leadership

The Women’s Leadership Series™ equips women to navigate systems strategically, shape policy conversations, and lead transformational change while staying rooted in their values and identity. At the heart of the series is the 4Ps Framework—Purpose, People, Policy, and Performance. These are not abstract ideas; they are practical leadership competencies women apply immediately in real-world settings.

Purpose™ – Leading from Identity, Values, and Vision
The journey begins by reconnecting with “why.” Participants explore how heritage, faith, lived experience, and personal values shape their leadership identity. Women are often encouraged to assimilate to existing systems rather than lead from their truth.

People™ – Building Power Through Relationships
This pillar focuses on building trust, strengthening networks, mentoring across generations, and fostering belonging in environments where women’s voices may be underestimated. Participants learn how to lead with empathy while maintaining boundaries.

Policy™ – Influencing Systems, Don’t Just Navigating Them
This pillar builds the skills to navigate governance structures, understand institutional dynamics, and translate values into actionable strategies.

Performance™ – Sustainable Leadership and Impact
Leadership should not require burnout or self-erasure. Through guided coaching and strategic alignment, participants learn how to connect goals to measurable outcomes
