This work was developed by Nasra Wehelie, who has served on more than 15 boards and held elected office in Madison city governance for four and a half years. She has experienced governance breakdowns, board-executive disconnects, and strategy-execution gaps firsthand, not as a consultant observing from the outside, but as a decision-maker publicly accountable for outcomes. She authored legislation, managed budgets, and built coalitions across communities and sectors. That experience shapes how she approaches organizational challenges and what it truly takes to create meaningful, lasting change.

Leadership Informed by Experience
Founder Nasra Wehelie brings profound governance experience across Dane County. Having served on numerous nonprofit, education, and community boards across Dane County, including youth development organizations, educational institutions, public advisory councils, and civic leadership bodies. She understands firsthand governance from the inside, the complexity of board leadership, community accountability, and institutional responsibility.​
